DUO JOINS MORNING DATA FROM TOTAL OBJECTS

London, U.K. 4th October 2017 October 2017 – Morning Data, an award-winning supplier of world-class software and service solutions for the global insurance industry, today announced the appointments of Steve Kidwell and Steve Palmer as Customer Services Director and System Support Analyst  respectively. They both join Morning Data from DXC Technology’s Total Objects. Morning Data has seen record increases in terms of revenue, net profit and clients in its 2016/2017 financial year, and the recent appointments reflect the business’ growth and provide a strong platform for its continued development.

Steve Kidwell joins the business this week. Due to the continued growth of the business, his role of Customer Services Director has been newly-created. It will be central to refining the already successful and effective delivery of insurance software to multiple clients as the business continues to grow. Steve brings 30 years’ technology sector experience, over 22 years of which has been spent in the insurance market.

For the last 14 years, Steve has worked for Total Objects, initially as Support Director and latterly as Product Owner, suppling the insurance sector with broker, excess of loss and binder software. Prior to joining Total Objects, Steve was IT Manager at a run-off reinsurance company, and held various positions with IT consultancy Cap Gemini and the Bank of Boston.

Steve Palmer joined Morning Data earlier this month, and is based in the London office. With 23 years at Xchanging, and five years at Total Objects, Steve has worked across both Xchanging’s (Rebus) Datasure and Total Object’s Brokasure products. He brings a vast experience in computer programming and user interface development, primarily in the area of design, development and support of Lloyd’s broking systems. In his new role, Steve will focus on a variety of projects, from messaging to market system integration.

Commenting on the appointments Kirstin Duffield, Managing Director, said, “The past 12 months has seen a period of unprecedented growth for the company. The expanded team will enable us to strengthen our already successful workforce, continue to focus on surpassing our clients’ expectations and provide a robust platform for continued growth. The coming year promises to be an exciting time for Morning Data, with further enhancements to our award-winning solutions and the continued penetration of the MGA sector to expand our already healthy portfolio.”

She continued, “We are delighted to welcome Steve Kidwell and Steve Palmer to the team. Both bring a considerable wealth of technical and insurance system knowledge to their new roles. They worked closely together in the past, and we are confident that their combined expertise will be welcomed by colleagues and clients alike.”
