In June 2023, Morning Data was acquired by Verisk Specialty Business Solutions, the London Market division of Verisk. Morning Data and Verisk have a shared vision of a data-lead insurance market, which made the acquisition a no brainer; joining forces both brands aim to provide the specialty insurance market with the tools needed to succeed in a digital world.

Kirstin Duffield
Chief Executive Officer
Kirstin has grown up in the London Market, a 4th generation to be closely involved. Combining her training in IT and Marketing, it was natural for Kirstin to join the family firm, and then taking over in 2005. Building the business from her father to a strong, stable and innovative team when Verisk acquired the business in 2023.
A passion for doing the right thing, for her team, their clients, and the Market, Kirstin has taken on additional roles right in the centre of the Market’s transformation change initiatives – making the case for all vendors to be included earlier and with a louder voice for what would have the most positive impact to the Market. Beating the drum for Data, with focus on the Policyholders best interest, Kirstin ploughs agile designs to proactively meet these changes, supporting Clients as they grow, ensuring they are not held back by their systems.
Paul Buckle
Commercial and Client Director
Paul started out his journey in in 1990 working for an insurance broker. During this time, one of his most enjoyable achievements was building a standard product to cover owners of multiple public houses, which was a growing trend in 1998. This then led onto building a Lotus Approach database to support the management of the insurance covers for these portfolios of properties.
From this point, Paul made the move to insurance software solutions, and, ever since, has been helping all types of insurance operations leverage technology to gain value. At Morning Data, Paul leads the customer service delivery, including commercial, project delivery, support, and the DevOps teams. Outside of the office, Paul fuels his competitive side with football, golf and darts! Reluctantly, Paul has now hung up his (white collar) boxing gloves and karate gi. When not in sporting mode, Paul spends his time with the family and walking the dog.
