.NET Developer (Dorset)

A new .NET Software Developer is being sought to work within our Dorset based team developing Insurance Broking Enterprise software for the insurance market, with particular focus on the London market..

Infrastructure Manager (Dorset or City) 

Responsible for designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing. Analyse system requirements and ensures that systems will be securely integrated with current applications. Requires a bachelor's degree in an area of specialty or 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has a deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals proactively to benefit the organisation and ensure new legislation and security requirements are adhered to. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Experienced in managing licensing within the organisation (Citrix, Microsoft and Oracle), negotiating the most cost effecting deployment to current and future platform choices. Managing suppliers and partners – for example Cloud/Hosting and Licensing. 

Good database skills would be an advantage with desire expand on current services Oracle 10g,11g, 12c and sql for Management Information and Business Intelligence analytics solutions using QlikVIew, QlikSense or PowerBI.

Project Lead (City of London)

Actively seeking a strong Project Lead with excellent organisation and Stakeholder Management Skills, attention to detail, ownership of issues and excellent documentation skills. The successful candidate will have a very hands on approach to the role. Prince2/Util desirable but not essential.

Business Analyst (City of London)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a business analyst with more than 5 years experience to step up into a career with an award-winning vendor in the London Market broking and MGA sector. We are a key player in this market and have an opening in our City based  business team for a technical-minded individual to help plan and implement projects of all sizes. We are actively seeking a strong BA with experience in the London Market with experience in Back Office system within an MGA, Coverholder, Broker or Carrier. A hands on role with excellent communication skills covering projects in Integration, Webservices, enhancements and migrations. Experience of writing specifications and test scripts for UAT will be desirable.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing multiple projects (testing, implementation, planning etc)

- Generating technical requirements analysis

- Recognising business problems and growth opportunities

- Supporting development and testing to the process improvements

This role requires strong computing skills and experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to communicate effectively with end users and IT/technical teams as well as Senior stakeholders when required. You must have an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. It will also require a can do attitude and a desire to get involved in multiple areas of the business.
