Cobalt successfully sign off after 1 month roll out

Morning Data are delighted to announce Cobalt Underwriting went live after their only one month of operations with eNOVUS. With a 3 month installation and implementation including some specific development, the first month closed without issue.

Cobalt are the first Shariah-compliant insurance and reinsurance underwriting agency focussed on solutions for commercial and corporate risk exposure.

With their own Shariah Scholars ensuring all activities are compliant, Cobalt needed a system that supported the practices, compliance and ethos of the market they would be serving.

Providing services to the Casualty, Energy and Property & Construction market, Cobalt will be using Morning Data’s eNOVUS system for all policy and claims management, document production, financial processing and regulatory reporting.

Kirstin Duffield, MD Morning Data said "We are delighted that eNOVUS has met the strict requirement list for a system that, whilst operating within a UK compliant market, must also support the Shariah compliant requirements. The Team at Cobalt have a desire to grow the services they provide in this exciting market and we are delighted they have chosen Morning Data as their partner for that journey."

Richard Bishop, MD of Cobalt Underwriting said "Our selection of eNOVUS was entirely based on two factors, the suitability of the software to meet our needs now as a young, growing company and in the future as we grow, as well as the professionalism and knowledge of the team behind the software."
